SD steel has one 2050mm hot rolled strip lines in Rizhao base, one 1500 mm hot rolled strip lineinLaiwubaseandonepickling plate line, with the capacity of producing 4 million-ton wide strip, 1 million-ton narrowstripand800thousandton pickled coil. 

The 2050mm hot roll line in Rizhao base integrates the most advanced process technology andproductionequipmentfrom both domestic and overseas, includes TMEIC automation system, extra high pressure widthfixer, edgeheater,andtriple stages cooling system combines ultra fast cooling + laminar cooling + ultra fast cooling processes.

The hot rolled products of SD Steel cover commodity coils, raw material coils for cold roll, hot rolled raw material coil for pickling, products appliesinautomotive/machinery/railway/shipbuilding/construction/bridge/petroleum and petrochemical/container manufacturing industries., etc. sizeranges1.2-25.4mm in thickness, 830-1900mm in width. 

The 780CL high yield wheel steel of SD Steel for automobiles has achieved its first release in China，furthermore, the hot rolled coil products fullycovergrade420L – 800L for automotive industry, B – X80 for API grade (joint R&D with CNPC, achieved trial production of 21.4mmX80Mcoil, with-20℃DWTTproperty)，700Mpa Max yield strength which satisfies Level E requirement, with thickness range from 2mm to 12.75mm.
